earth observatory

image of earth
NASA's Earth Observatory web site is nicely designed and has lots of neat info and images.

the photos are breath-taking and most of them provide details about the camera, film and settings used.

there is also a data & images section to view measurements of things like sea surface height, uv radiation exposure, ozone, & global chlorophyll.
